The Purchase Limit calculates purchase limits by commercial category in a flexible manner (higher sales increase purchasing power, while lower sales reduce purchasing power).

Column Details

1st Balance for MM/yyyy = Purchase limit balance from the previous month.
  • This column will be hidden if the “Calculate Previous Month Balance” option in the Filter function is unchecked.
2nd Balance as of dd/MM = Accumulated purchase limit balance for the month up to the date shown in the column header.
  • This column will be hidden if the starting date is the 1st day of the month.
3rd Balance = Sum of the (1st) previous month’s balance and the (2nd) current month’s balance up to the date shown in the column header.
  • This column will be hidden if the “Calculate Previous Month Balance” option in the Filter function is unchecked.
4th Period Limit Amount = Purchase limit generated in the budget at the beginning of the month. 5th Ideal Limit Amount = Sum of the previous balance and the limit amount for the selected period. Important:
  • The balance is positive when purchases are below the ideal amount and negative when the limit has been exceeded.
  • The previous month’s balance is the accumulated balance only from the month immediately before the selected period, not an accumulation of several months.
  • During the first week of the month, the limit will be based on the budget limit.
  • Daily actual amount data will only be processed, sent, and updated after the POS consistency check.
  • The “Calculate Previous Month Balance” option in the Filter function is configured according to the settings under (Options | Settings | Parameters), using the “SaldoAnteriorLimiteCompra” parameter.
Purchase configuration:
  • Administrative >> Administrative Queries >> Entry and Exit: Configure
  • Entry and Exit Configuration: Enter the entry types considered merchandise purchases
    • Note: Controller360 will use this parameter to import the total daily purchase amounts.
